Saudi Arabia’s bourse ends at a three-week low as petrochemical and banking shares weigh following a drop in oil prices and global stocks.
The index fells to its lowest close since April 16, as the petrochemical sector benchmark dropped 1.5 percent and the banking index declined 1.4 percent.
The Tadawul All-Share Index dropped 1.27 percent to close at 7,450.26 points.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) and Al-Rajhi Bank are down 1.7 percent and 1.3 percent respectively.
Global stocks swooned and crude oil tumbled on Friday after a weak US jobs report and data that suggested a deeper recession across the euro zone than previously thought dented sentiment.
