King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA) will organize a workshop on the creation of a high-performance and risk-free work environment, scheduled for May 20 at Meridien Hotel, Riyadh.
Commenting on the event, Governor of Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO) and KAQA Secretary-General Nabil Mulla said the workshop was aimed at empowering firms to improve performance on a continual basis and prioritize their missions for achieving the required targets.
The workshop will explore basics on how to change the work environment in one site into quality-oriented organizations and adoption of proper management as basis for decision making.
He said the KAQA pursued to spread awareness on the importance of quality, its application and adoption of strategic planning for drawing up plans and objectives, and means of implementation.
KAQA also aims to encourage firms to adopt a comprehensive quality plan and apply it at the national level as well as to improve all its production processes. It also aims at upgrading the level of performance in Saudi firms and encouraging top management to observe national and international standards, he said.
