The Border Guards foiled an attempt to smuggle 151 kg of hashish across the southern borders of the Kingdom yesterday.
“The guards seized 151 kg of hashish from a van that refused to stop, even after a hot chase and warning shots were fired at the car in the border town of Ahd Al-Musarihah. The van finally stopped when it collided with the sidewalk,” spokesman for the Border Guards in Jazan Col. Abdullah Mahfouz said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency.
He added that the smugglers fled the scene.
