400 seasonal charity jobs on offer

Jeddah’s Charity House has announced online registration for those interested in working in seasonal jobs at the National Project of Zakat Al-Fitr, which is implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The Charity House, according to its administrator Alshaikh Faisal Alhameed, is seeking 400 young male Saudis to work in this charity, mainly in its warehouses.
Those selected will be trained in ways to communicate with people, exposed to the mechanisms of the work field and given a certificate of experience and a financial reward of up to SR 3,500.
Candidates can apply for the job online at the Charity House’s website by filling out a form. The applications will be evaluated by a committee. It will look into the candidate's previous experiences. The candidates need to have an International Computer Driving License (ICDL) and pass an interview.
Alhameed said the Charity House is doing its best to implement the Ministry of Social Affairs' National Project of Zakat Al-Fitr (Fitra) and try to remove the negative impression about Zakat Al-Fitr.
He said the Charity House is depending on the latest management and technical tools in order to achieve its charity prospects, in accordance of the strategic list of field research for the families assigned by the warehouse. The job the Charity House is offering is not limited to just providing help to the poor, but also involves a feeding program, where families are provided with magnetic cards that allow them to buy food supplements at supermarkets. There is also a garment program to provide clothing to beneficiaries, a furniture program, where old furniture is taken back and recycled and a rehabilitation and training program to help people out of the cycle of poverty and into self-sufficiency and productivity.
