What is incel?
Short for “involuntarily celibate,” an "incel" is a member of an online community of young men who consider themselves unable to attract women sexually and resultantly express hostility toward them. In Britain, there are calls for government action to tackle "incel" culture amid fears that many young men and adults are "being radicalized and pushed toward misogyny — and violent misogyny, in some cases.”
Tuwaiq Sculpture
Launched in 2019, the annual event features sculptors from various countries who have exhibited their creations internationally. This year's edition of Tuwaiq Sculpture, themed “Energy of Harmony,” opened in Riyadh on January 8 featuring 30 artists from countries such as Austria, China, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland, as well as strong representation from Saudi Arabia, They are producing large-scale sculptures that will become permanent fixtures of Riyadh’s urban landscape.
