Lama Al-Badin
Lama Al-Badin is an eight-year-old inventor from Saudi Arabia, who won an international competition for designing a pair of glasses that aim to help blind people navigate the world safely. The girl from the eastern city of Dammam bested nearly 1,000 entries from 19 countries in the “Glasses of the Future” competition.
Not Just a Boutique
Despite its name, Anarat Boutique is not just a boutique. Located just a few km away from the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, Anarat Boutique is a heritage hotel that was transformed from a century-old house. Project founder May Al-Musallam says her project is "not just a tourist destination, but also a bridge connecting the past and present, offering a window into the authentic spirit of Saudi heritage in its most beautiful form.”
