Advanced pediatrics course to be held in Riyadh

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group has completed preparations for an advanced pediatric course, which will be held at the hospital from Sept. 1 to 5 in Riyadh.
The Saudi Authority for Medical Specializations and the American Academy of Continuing Medical Education have approved the five-day course.
The course is designed for doctors applying for fellowship exams of the British Royal College as well as for Saudi and Arab fellowships in pediatrics.
“We have selected the doctors who will present various topics during the course,” said Dr. Abdullah Al-Harbash, consultant pediatrician and executive vice president at the group.
“We have completed preparations to host speakers and participants,” he said, adding that previous medical courses organized by the group were well attended.
“The course will focus on new developments in pediatrics,” Dr. Al-Harbash said. In addition to multiple-choice questions, the course will include discussions on rare diseases.
