Alhamrani-Fuchs leads in lubricant innovations

The marketing and technical department of Alhamrani-Fuchs Petroleum Saudi Arabia Ltd. (AFPSA), in coordination with Lubrizol International, recently arranged a technical seminar at the Movenpick Hotel in Yanbu.
“To lead in lubricant innovations is the vision of the management of Alhamrani Fuchs Petroleum Saudi Arabia, and it continues to take its shape in forms of technical seminars on lubricants and modernization of its manufacturing facilities,” said one of the top executives at the company. “This quest is the vision of making AFPSA a leader in the trend of lubricants engineering in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.”
The attendees were spearheaded by AFPSA President Zafar Talpur, Mohammed Hanif Sattar, vice president for operations and technical, Dr. Brahim Missaoui, vice president-finance, Mohammed Jarjarah, vice president-marketing, Ishtiaq A. Malik, general manager-finance, Sohail S. Khan, deputy general manager-industrial and commercial sales, Sari S. Barakat, deputy general manager-export, and other senior executives from AFPSA head office, plants and branches.
Later, an internal technical seminar was organized at AFPSA Yanbu Blending and Grease Plant. It was conducted by Rehan Ashgar. The seminar was followed by yet another innovative vision realized through modernization, the inauguration of the new security and entrance gate, the state-of-the-art laboratory and the new substation with 2MW power output.
Talpur and Sattar emphasized the benefits of gaining technical knowledge through these seminars and plant modernization. They said all these have put AFPSA ahead in terms of lubricants innovation in the whole region.
