Alwani Memoni on top in Toya Squash League

Team Alwani Memoni are at the top of the table, at the half way stage, in the 2nd Toya Jeddah Squash League, organized by Shahid Khan, and played at different venues in Jeddah.
In the latest round of action, Alwani were pitted against strong title contenders Toya in a match that generated a lot of interest among spectators.
The match lived up to expectations, with players from both teams putting up outstanding performances. The No.1 from Alwani, Abdulelah Bashrahil, currently top-ranked Saudi in the under-19 category was up against Essam AlKhateeb of Toya, the No. 3 ranked in the Kingdom. In an exciting match, Essam got the better of Abdulelah 3-1.
In other games, Mohammed bin Salman from Alwani, No.1 in KFCC Jeddah Club, beat Shahid Khan of Toya and Hatim AlSaigh, ex-national KSA player, of Toya beat Zuhair Al Moosa, former No. 3 of Saudi, playing for Alwani 3-2 to put them at the top, followed by Toya in second place.
KFCC ‘A’ Team are placed third followed AlBilad. Grey Fox are the bottom of the table.
This tourney, the second in a row, is organized to promote the game in Jeddah. The organizer is thankful to sponsors, Toya, Raquet Shop, and Alwani Dates for their support and making squash popular in Jeddah.
