Arab National Bank launched an advanced training program (Truffles) for more than 300 Saudi employees with outstanding performance to develop their capabilities and empower them to assume leadership positions in the future.
The young employees have been selected from different departments and business levels, based on strict assessment standards.
Obaid Alrasheed, deputy CEO, private and retail banking at ANB, said: "This innovative program, which extends for a period of three years, involves a large number of executives who will personally work on developing the skills of their promising staff to become successful business leaders in the future.”
ANB’s Head of Human Resources Group Abdulaziz Alnajran said the new Mentoring Program is an unprecedented initiative since every employee "Mentee" will be under the direct supervision of an executive director Mentor with a huge experience in empowering, nurturing and guiding employees throughout their career path.
“Our objective is not only recruiting young Saudis, but rather investing in them to become future business leaders, contributing to the improvement of the national banking sector,” added Alnajran.
The program was developed in collaboration with ANB’s HR manpower development department, the Institute of Banking and specialized training institution, and it was designed to boost leadership and decision-making skills, assigning the trainees different upscale projects and tasks.
