Asir Governor Prince Faisal bin Khaled will pay the medical bills of Rakan Al-Dossary and the debts of his mother.
Rakan was in a year-long coma following an accident in which his father and three brothers were killed on a Riyadh highway six years ago. The boy is still paralyzed.
“Rakan is my son and I will take up the responsibility of paying for the cost of his treatment and debts,” Prince Faisal said on Friday. The prince made this announcement during a meeting with the child and his mother. The prince ordered the Governor of Bisha Muhammad Al-Mutahammi to submit a report on the child’s condition, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
