ATCL expands with new Volvo fleet from Zahid Tractor

The Arabian Transportation Company Ltd. (ATCL), one of the largest and leading fresh fruit and frozen food transporters in Saudi Arabia, recently increased their fleet with the acquisition of further 20 Volvo Tractor Heads model FH13 440.
This order has been placed with Zahid Tractor as an addition to the 25 Volvo trucks purchased six months ago. This additional order is in line with the target of the Arabian Transport Company Ltd. (ATCL) to continue expanding its fleet.
"I am glad with the results we are achieving. The market is acting in accordance with our original business plan," said Hashim M. Sharbatly, GM of the company. "The reason for choosing Volvo trucks as our preferred transport solutions partner is based on the strong relationship built up over many years with Zahid Tractor. Some of the new units have been purchased with the automatic gear system (I Shift), with plans to standardize on it for our future orders," said Franco Negro of ATCL.
All of these trucks have been fitted with the latest GPS tracking and management systems and supplied with a full repair and maintenance (gold) contract, enabling ATCL to focus on supplying their customers with the best possible service.
"We are very happy with the continued business given to us by ACTL and are equally pleased to introduce and develop transportation solutions for them that optimizes and support their operation (with gold contract maintenance and buy back guarantee), allowing them to focus on their core business.

The I Shift technology, not only reduces the cost of operation, but also contributes to our social responsibilities in delivering trucks that are safe, of high quality and are friendly to the environment," Said Nasser J. Bayram, MD, commercial vehicles division at Zahid Tractor.
