Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an initiative of ALJ Community Initiatives, will support nursery and day care projects, in response to the female teachers’ desire for establishing nurseries in schools to provide day care for their children during work hours.
Abdul Rahman Al-Fihaid, BRJ’s executive director Saudi Arabia, said: “The small projects finance program has provided support to 20,940 small projects since its inception in 2003 to the end of last September.”
He added: “Projects included confectionery production, photography studio, fast food, medical equipment, football field, bricks factory, beauty salon, and other several projects. This program provides finance to young males and females for their existing or new projects, and to those who have ideas, feasibility studies and licenses for specific projects, and enjoy skill and experience in managing such projects, but they only lack finance. Through this program, they receive an interest-free finance up to SR 150,000 for their projects.”
Al-Fihaid added: “Through BRJ, we are seeking to create more job opportunities for the Saudi citizens, in cooperation with several public authorities that support BRJ programs, such as the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Credit and Saving Bank, Ministry of Labor through labor offices, Social Charity Fund, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), NCB and other governmental authorities that support BRJ programs to reach the desired goals.”
Al-Fihaid said BRJ provides a selection of programs to create job opportunities for beneficiaries. The applicant shall review the programs to understand the objectives of each one, and then select the program that suits his personal interests. Programs include the small projects finance, direct employment and training ending with employment.
Al-Fihaid called unemployed young people to apply to any of Bab Rizq Jameel branches in different cities of the Kingdom, or through BRJ website, babrizqjameel.com.
