Baha kidney donor honored

JEDDAH: For donating a kidney to his ailing father, Sultan Al-Omari of Baha province had been awarded the King Abdulaziz Medal of the third degree by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah.
Baha Deputy Gov. Hamid Al-Shammari also honored the donor on Tuesday.
"What the young man did is a noble and he deserves this prestigious medal," Al-Shammari said as he received Sultan at his office.
Sultan thanked the king for his great and unending support and concern for the sons and daughters of the kingdom. He also expressed appreciation to the deputy governor for his support and encouragement.
