Mobily forum to focus on entrepreneurship apps

Mobily Apps Developers Forum kicks off its activities on Saturday (Sept. 13) at Al Khozama Banqueting & Conference Center in Riyadh.
The forum will review the latest methods to develop programming and design techniques, in order to keep up with the latest technological progress.
The conference will address apps for entrepreneurship and how to convert the application of mobile phones into an effective tool for attracting investors.
The conclusion of the forum will be marked by honoring five winning applications with prizes out of a total of 20 nominated for the final voting.
Prizes totally amount to SR270,000; the first winner will be awarded SR100,000, the second SR70,000, the third SR50,000, the fourth SR 30,000 and the fifth SR20,000.
Sami Nashwan, Mobily’s chief consumer officer, said: “We are proud to continue to organize the Mobily App Developers Forum, which is considered the sole specialized forum for applications for smartphones. “The growing importance of smartphones in day-to-day life has made Mobily enhance the Arabic content and support the capabilities of developers.”
Mobily aims to offer incentives for all app developers and amateurs interested in the world of applications,” Nashwan said. “That’s why we were keen to invite the most prominent app developers in the region for discussing various topics, especially the strategies for developers to make their apps a source of profit.”
How to make applications help developers promote their business, and how the virtual reality technology can be included in the games and advertising as an enjoyable technique in smartphones will also be focused at the forum.
Mudesir Sheikha, Mohammed Aljahmani, Mohammed Al-Qadi and Nawaf Al-Ghamdi will review the most popular applications in the Middle East and highlight the lessons learned during the development and marketing of their applications.
