For autumn winter (AW’15), Cath Kidston has turned to its own print archive for inspiration, creating a capsule collection inspired by the range of prints that the brand has designed over the years. The brand’s team of in-house designers has given a new lease of life to iconic prints, the result being a riot of print and color.
As the home of modern vintage, it has become the brand’s signature to take inspiration from a variety of sources, including vintage finds, to create beautiful, distinctive prints and apply them to modern, everyday products with a sense of fun and a nod to its British heritage. The brand’s playful prints are applied to products from fashion, bags and accessories, homewares and products for kids.
The AW’15 collection showcases Cath Kidston’s trademark mix of florals, spots and novelty designs in beautiful, eye-catching new colorways. When viewed as a whole, the collection captures the excitement and anticipation of vintage shopping, with its breadth of color and print.
Kidston’s library collection celebrates familiar favorites and rare gems alike that deserve another season in the spotlight and has given the archive a new lease of life. The collection features a number of Kidston’s most recognizable prints, including cowboy, spray flowers, Chelsea rose and Hampstead rose. Subtle adjustments have been made to each print to create surprising new color combinations, refreshing the classic designs with an imaginative twist. The new Library prints can be found across a range of fashion and accessory styles.
As always, Kidston has accessories covered with a wide range of bags in all different shapes and sizes, available in prints.
Kidston introduces a collection, which celebrates Turning over a New Leaf. This key, autumnal story brims with falling leaves at different stages of the season, country roses plus a squirrel or two.
