YAS Marina Circuit hosts special event for Saudi Ferrari owners

The YAS Marina Circuit played host to a very special motor sports event on Jan. 8, where Ferrari owners from Saudi Arabia participated in an exclusive track event involving a series of driving activities at the beginning of the technical and field experiments for the 2016 season.
The full day event started in Dubai, with a gathering of Ferrari owners Club of Saudi Arabia and then drove in a parade to Abu Dhabi before progressing on the track. Owners experienced the Ferrari’s track capabilities during the afternoon within a safe and controlled environment under the supervision of the Pilota Ferrari’ official instructors.
The program also included advanced level training for those Ferrari owners who have participated in track days in the past, as how to face various driving conditions, including sudden stop on slippery road surface, maneuvering, driving into sharp curves and safe driving.
Attendees, who were briefed about Ferrari cars, enjoyed driving various cars, including 488 GTB, 488 Spider, California T and F12 Berlinetta, where they experienced themselves the outstanding performing and maneuvering capabilities.
James Butler, GM, Fast Auto Technic, said: "This event is important for Ferrari owners and also for us as it improves their skills in driving Ferrari cars. Hence, we will continue in a permanent form of such training programs that will deepen and develop a relationship with our customers, which is falling within our marketing throughout the year."
This event was aimed at enhancing customers’ experience with Ferraris legendary road-going and racing performance, in addition to hot laps around the track and practical training by the official Ferrari Pilota instructors.
