The 17th branch of the Tamimi Markets has opened on King Abdullah Road, Riyadh.
Prince Bandar bin Khalid bn Fahd opened the outlet in the Ishibilia district.
Distinguished guests from all walks of life were present at the event.
” We started in 1979 as one of the first and distinguished markets in the Kingdom,” Tariq Al-Tamimi, Tamimi Markets Group chairman, said.
“We open this branch today due to a future vision to this neighborhood that is expected to be full of people so we try our best to meet the needs of our society,” he added.
“We provide everything the customer needs and the opening comes with the expansionist policy of Tamimi markets and with our eagerness and keenness to reach customers in different locations,” he said.
Mohsen S Hussain, Tamimi Markets general manager, said the new outlet is the 10th branch in the Riyadh city built on an area of 4,500 sq. m.
“More than 30,000 items coming from various countries have been displayed at the shelves,” he said.
“Our prices are affordable for everyone, the modern facilities and latest services are the main things that our markets are distinguished with especially in this branch.”
Hussein said the store contains all requirements of the family such as vegetables, fruits, fresh meats, baked goods and electrical appliances.
“The market is distinguished with competitive prices and we are planning for a series branches of Tamimi markets spread across the Kingdom.”
Hussein said the expansion comes under the plans of Tamimi markets included in the framework of the company’s strategy to increase the number of its branches in the upcoming period to cover all regions of the Kingdom.
The group plans to open seven more outlets which would include four in Riyadh, and three in other parts of the Kingdom such Dhahran and Al-Hasaq.
