Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) recently sponsored the second session of Maskan Exhibition held at Nayyara Banqueting Conferences and Exhibitions Center in Riyadh.
It was held with the support of Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil, chairman of the board of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and under the supervision of Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki Al-Saud.
Faysal Alaquil, director of business development and head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) department at CPC, reiterated that the company’s sponsorship of Maskan was anchored on CPC’s keenness to providing adequate housing for Saudi families by participating in relevant projects.
Its participation in this exhibition confirms its intention in keeping with its CSR initiatives. He pointed out that gathering both property developers in Saudi Arabia with finance sources to undertake joint programs under easy terms and conditions will contribute to meeting the housing requirements of Saudi families who wish to own a suitable home within a mid-income budget. The exhibition, which attracted many interior designers, furniture companies and modern construction technologies and furnishing companies, also shed light on housing projects as well as on funding and lending methods.
Alaquil emphasized that offering low-cost housing is a social responsibility in the midst of high prices of land and housing units in Saudi Arabia.
He said construction companies and real estate developers have a major role in helping to resolve the housing crisis in Saudi Arabia by reducing the construction costs.
Moreover, he said, the cost of constructing economical housing units for individuals is slashed by around 40 percent.
