Deal signed to promote Saudi IT skills

A cooperation deal was signed between the Centennial Fund (CF) and Oracle Middle East and Africa to promote skills of young entrepreneurs develop small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and create better job opportunities for the younger Saudi generation.
The prime objective of the program is to promote the SME sector and create better job opportunities for Saudi youths in the IT sector.
CF Director General Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi said the deal was aimed to strengthen cooperation between CF and Oracle to achieve the set goals.
Deputy President of Oracle Middle East and Africa Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Zuhaiban said his company was seeking to develop the capacities of half of Saudi cadres in the IT sector in the next three years. This is needed to keep pace with the increasing size of the IT market in the Kingdom, which is considered the fastest growing in the region.
