The Ministry of Commerce announced Saturday that it had directed a dairy company to recall a number of its products from market shelves to correct the production date.
A ministry source clarified to Arab News that there was nothing wrong with the expiration date since the company actually put the production date ahead by two days.
The ministry said earlier that it will continue naming and shaming companies who receive verdicts for commercial violations. The ministry will also continue announcing the names of companies who were issued verdicts by the Board of Grievances.
