Eraserheads grab limelight in Almarai Saturday League

Joe Garrido powered defending champion Eraserheads mentored by Armin Isles to a Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week double during the 11th session in the Almarai- FBGR Saturday Bowling League at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here.
In a big night for Eraserheads Garrido led the way by delivering a Bowler of the Week award-winning performance posting the high series of 998 pinfalls on lines of 290, 224, 258 and 226.
Jojo Gabriel 822, Andro Tismo 806, and Isles 804 supporte Garrido.
As a team Eraserheads won against Kapit-Bisig which got a lift from Shawn Ricketts 866, Jojie Manalansan 854, James Boyd 812, Clem Ojeda 769 and Billy Baladiong 705.
The Exodus mentored by Benny Mondoy defeated Sebo Boys of Koko Torres 21-77. Butch Espinosa was the top scorer for the winners on 836 followed by team captain Benny Mondoy 821, Ely Fanugao 799, Edgar Buenaventura 787 and Ellen Bernabe 779. For the losing team Sam Alinsod had 823, Ruel Pingol 814, Angel Caasi 784 and Dawood Sereno 721.
Nadec Strokers mentored by Lope Ramirez walloped Expendibles of Hani Al-Nasleh 18-7 thanks to the inspired performance of Jove Marano 893 with the good support from Atoi Ramos 877, team captain Lope Ramirez 784, Jojo Paciano 719 and Reynald Medina 505. Top scorer for Expendibles were Erwin Nacario 833, Hani Al-Nasleh 789 and Fathi Abdulaziz 787 while Jett Cabana added 572 and Chito Llagas 503 in three games.
In another match, Alsalam Knights mentored by Bandar Al-Marshad blasted RG512 for Clothes 20-10. Jess Vidal was the highest scorer at 904 followed by Efren Abuyo 827, Benjie Valderama 812, Rollie Cleofe 809 while Lito Vega 417 and Mario Miranda 382. Ahmed Al-Qarquosh led the RG512’s losing cause on 879 with Thong Asuncion on 794, Mike Ecalnir 763, Noel Marques 725 and Yasser Mohammed 590.
In other matches, Almarai Co. mentored by Emerson Mitra won over Carry Over of Lulu Quejada 19-9, Proshop Strikers of Johnny Penecilla defeated SABB Tenpin Wizards of Allan Ofreneo 21-9, and Alinma Bank mentored by Abdulrahman Ahmed blanked Alfanar Precast of Ricky Bunao 23-0.
