This is in reference to the story, It’s all systems go for Haj 1433 (Oct. 23). May Allah bless Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for supervising Haj operation personally from Jeddah and issuing orders and instructions to the Saudi authorities to provide the necessary services to the guests of God.
It is quite satisfactory and pleasing that the best arrangements have been made by the government of Saudi Arabia for the pilgrims including that of the health, transport, electricity and water services in addition to all other necessities.
This is really an exemplary and laudable service to almost three million guests of God who gather from different countries and parts of the world into Makkah to perform the Haj, one of the five fundamental pillars of Islam.
It was also good news that more than 1,400 Muslim leaders and scholars from around the world are performing Haj this year as guests of King Abdullah.
It is because of the grace of Almighty God Haj preparations are made with billions of dollars for various projects by the government of this great Islamic country every year.
We pray Allah to give the best reward to King Abdullah, the government and people of Saudi Arabia and accept their generous and noble services toward Islam and Muslim Ummah. — Zakaria Sultan, Riyadh
