All sectors of the National Guard are actively participating in Operation Decisive Storm, confirmed Minister of the National Guard Prince Miteb bin Abdullah. He made this statement on the sidelines of the 5th annual Patient Safety Conference organized by the department of health affairs for the National Guard.
“Officers and pilots from the National Guard are heavily involved and working alongside colleagues from the Department of Defense,” he said. “The National Guard and its hospitals are ready to fulfill any task commanded by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman,” Prince Miteb said.
More than 4,000 people participated in the conference held at King Saud University for Health Sciences. According to Prince Miteb, the National Guard is heavily involved in activities related to the health sector including hosting 10 conferences and more than 170 workshops annually.
For his part, Executive General Manager of Health Affairs at the National Guard and head of King Saud University for Health Sciences Bender Mohsen Knawy explained in his speech, delivered on his behalf by Director General of Medical Affairs Saad Al-Mohraj, that focus on improving the relevant aspects of patient safety is one of the most important requirements for better health care performance, as is strengthening the foundations of the training of health practitioners to create a safe environment and provide excellent medical care.
