The first Haj flights will land in Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
Hatim Qadi, undersecretary at the Ministry of Haj, announced that 13 flights will land at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah and seven at Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Madinah.
“All arrangements have been made to enable the guests of God to perform the Haj rites with ease, peace and comfort,” he told Al-Madinah daily.
More than 1.8 million foreign pilgrims are expected to perform Haj this year, according to Haj Minister Bandar Hajar.
About 170,000 pilgrims from India are scheduled to come for the pilgrimage.
