Forum to explore violence in stadiums

A forum in Riyadh started discussing violence and abuse in sports stadiums yesterday, said the head of the event’s scientific committee.
The forum on violence and abuse in sports stadiums and its impact on security was organized by the Saudi Sports Association under the patronage of Assistant Minister of Interior Prince Muhammed bin Naif, added Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Nami, the head of the event's scientific committee.
A number of specialists, academics and journalists will present papers in the two-day forum over six sessions.
The forum will work out recommendations to tackle violence and intolerance in sports stadiums, Al-Nami said.
Al-Nami also expressed appreciation over Prince Muhammed bin Naif’s patronage.
