Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, which is all set to resume its services to eight prominent Iraqi and Iranian destinations beginning Sept. 20, offers convenient flight connections and flexible flight options for Saudi Arabia-based travelers.
“All of our eight Iraqi and Iranian destinations are easily accessible from Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah with less than two hours transit time in Bahrain,” said Yahya Ali Buali, Gulf Air’s senior manager (sales), Bahrain/Saudi Arabia.
“This is especially ideal for our business travelers as the schedules allow comfortable daytime travel enabling their businesses to expand further into these two countries. Gulf Air’s aim is to provide greater flexibility and connectivity for our travelers from all Saudi destinations due to the strategic importance we attach to the Saudi market,” he said.
With Najaf, the first destination to reopen from Sept. 20, passengers can choose from four weekly flights.

While the Baghdad flight will begin on Sept. 21 with three weekly flights, Erbil will be launched effective Sept. 23 with four weekly flights. Flights to Basra will begin from Oct. 29 with four weekly flights.
