Hafiz bylaw comes into effect today

The Hafiz program, which was launched earlier this year to support unemployed Saudis, will start implementing its executive bylaw today. The law has specified the rights and duties of the program’s beneficiaries.
The program’s authors published the bylaw on the YouTube four weeks ago in order to enlighten the beneficiaries and more than a million people have already watched the YouTube clip of the bylaw.
Khaled Al-Ajami, director general of the program, said the awareness campaign was aimed at encouraging beneficiaries to make use of the scheme’s training and employment programs.
“We have noticed that most beneficiaries are serious in following the program’s instructions. We hope that this positive interaction would lead to finding suitable jobs for them,” Al-Ajami said.
Beneficiaries have to log onto the program’s website www.hafiz.gov.sa at least once a week, attend training courses and interviews and make use of jobs offered by the Human Resource Development Fund.
