Hayuna wins Kenwood contest on Facebook

After a six-month long competition for the biggest chef on Facebook, Hayuna won the title of chef for Kenwood in Saudi Arabia for 2012.
Hayuna outperformed her competitors in Saudi Arabia on Facebook and won the first prize in the contest of Kenwood (Chef Arabia 2012), which is claimed to be the largest contest on Facebook. She got the highest number of votes.
Hayuna’s food won her the (perineum kenwood titanium with accessories) as well as the title of Chef Kenwood Arabia 2012.
Kenwood, a global leader in the manufacture of devices for food preparation, launched the Chef Kenwood Arabia contest on Facebook for the first time at the beginning of the 2012, which continued throughout the year and included months of international cuisine that varied each month such as Saudi, Indian, Asian, Italian and Lebanese.
Hayuna was pleased to have won the the first place and thanked the Kenwood for organizing the contest.
Fadi Tarabay, marketing manager, Kenwood’s devices for food preparation, said: “We’re keen to organize this competition to support Saudi women and housewives to prepare healthy food in easy-to-use devices, reflecting great confidence and reputation of the achievements Kenwood devices. We will be organizing during 2013 a new contest for amateur cooking. We’ll give details during the next few days in support of Talent Arabia. Kenwood company has undertaken such competitions in the interest of community service organizations to enable contestants review their cooking skills.”
