Honda Accord 2013 offers advanced, intelligent features

ABDULLAH Hashim Co. Ltd. (AHC) unveiled the 9th generation Honda Accord at a function in Jeddah last week. The much-anticipated all-new 2013 Honda Accord’s sedan and coupe have already gone on sale.
The most sculpted ever, Accord delivers an even more spacious and comfortable passenger cabin wrapped in a dynamic and prestigious exterior design. The completely new Accord line-up offers a wide choice of 7 different grades in sedan and 2 grades in coupe version. Both the sedan and coupe models are powered by 4 cylinder or V6 engines mated to 5-speed or 6-speed automatic transmission respectively.
Crisply styled and aerodynamically efficient, the 2013 Honda Accord sedan and coupe body designs are claimed to be the most sophisticated in Accord history. The 2013 Accord unit-body uses 55.8 percent high-tensile steel, more than in any previous Accord.
The exterior styling of the new Accord's styling is exhilarating, sophisticated and premium. Starting in the front, a bold new grille imparts a distinctive and dynamic tension that complements the powerful look of the hood's multiple styling lines.
Deeply sculpted character line flows through the door handles and flares upward toward the rear of the vehicle to further convey a sense of dynamism and sporty attitude. In the back, the inward slope where the fenders taper into the trunk and C- pillars is designed to convey a powerful, athletic stance from the rear.
As in previous generations, two gasoline engines are available on the 2013 Honda Accord sedan and coupe. These include a new Earth Dream 2.4-liter 4-cylinder and a new Earth Dream 3.5-liter V-6 with revised VTEC + VCM functions.
The base 173-horsepower (hp) 4-cylinder engine is coupled to an efficient 5-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, Accord V-6 models feature a 276-horsepower 3.5-liter engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2013 Accord sedan and coupe offer the greatest range of active and passive safety features in Honda history. Collision safety engineering includes the updated Advanced Compatibility Engineering (AC) body structure.
An expressive exterior color choice is also available for the new 2013 Honda Accord models with the Accord Sedan available in 8 colors, and the Accord Couple in 7 colors.
