Genesis’ running game was unstoppable. Aaron Macarimban and Nap Solis scored 24 and 18 points respectively for Hyundai Genesis and were adjudged as the Giordano best players of the game while Jobert Recayo top-scored with 23 points for United Naghi.

Chili’s Restaurant of Alfredo Villas defeated Mini Cooper 81-69. Chili’s’ outside snipping in the final period gave Mini Cooper its only loss in the elimination round. Mini Copper fielded its second stringers as the game was a non-contest. Pungay Masigan scored a career-high 35 points and was adjudged as JBL Best Player of the game while Sherwin Cabading had 25 points for Mini Cooper.
Saudi Diyar of coach Jeffrey Esperanza tamed Viagra Naghi 68-61 to seal the No. 1 position in the championship series. Saudi Diyar converted free throws in the crucial seconds of the game.
Gerald Deleon scored 20 points for Saudi Diyar and was adjudged as the Arab News Best Player of the game while Sampang had 18 points for Viagra Naghi.
Al Muhaidib of coach Pablo Viscayno beat STC Terabytes 81-57. Muhaidib showed their supremacy in the offensive department. Terabytes tried hard but a costly turnovers in the final period gave Al Muhaidib a spot in the best-of-three championship aeries against Nissan GTR.
Gary Fadernal had 16 points for Muhaidib and was adjudged as JBL Best Player of the game while Ebido and Perito each scored 11 points for Terabytes.
Jeddah Dawa Center beat MODA 61-58. It was a close fight up to the dying seconds. JDC was ahead by only 2 points but MODA’s main man Bertolano bobbled the ball with 8 seconds remaining. JDC will play against Erfan Hospital, an 83-71 winner over Saudia Catering, for the Group C championship. Jaber Gonzales scored 21 points for JDC and was adjudged as the JBL Best Player of the game while Reynold Borceque had 20 points for MODA.
Erfan Hospital seized control up to the final buzzer. Saudia Catering missed important baskets in the crucial minute of the game. Valle top-scored with 21 points for Erfan and was adjudged as the Saudi Sign Best Player of the game while Hassan Makki scored 18 points for Saudia Catering.
Rabya of Coach Richard Sotto defeated Jeddah Marriott Hotel 60-57. Rabya escaped defeat after Marriott’s last offensive play fizzled. Garcia led Rabya with 30 points and was adjudged as Wael Sports Best Player of the game while Bandiola had 14 points for Marriott.
In the nightcap Friday, Nissan GTR of Francis Gallego scored an 84-75 win against Mahmoud Gharib. Nissan GTR played wisely in the last 2 minutes of the game as Mahmoud Gharib committed crucial errors in the endgame.
Gino Cilot attacked the defense to score 22 points and was adjudged as JBL Best Player of the game while Jonas led Mamoud Gharib with 32 points.
