I read Arab News regularly when I come to the Kingdom during Haj. I read of the illegal Hujjaj who slip in without the necessary permission. This is happening every year. Your newspaper constantly carries news about how strict the authorities will be, but to no avail.
My suggestion is similar to one published some days ago, though slightly different. All Hujjaj must wear the band given by their Haj office preferably on their right hand. A similar band differently colored for all local Hujjaj also on the right hand. All workers and support staff should have identity cards with their photographs. — M.S. Banoo, Johannesburg
