Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior Ahmed Al-Salem and special representative of the Indonesian president for Middle Eastern Affairs Alawi Shihab discussed issues of Indonesian expatriates in the Kingdom in Jeddah yesterday. They also discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries and other matters of common concern.
Shihab also thanked the Saudi government for taking good care of the Indonesian community in the Kingdom.
The reception took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior in Jeddah. Shihab also conveyed condolences of the Indonesian president on the death of Crown Prince Naif. He also conveyed greetings to the newly appointed Interior Minister Prince Ahmed, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
