Machinex Arabia 2013, the third International Exhibition for heavy machinery and equipment, has opened its doors to visitors at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
The high-profile exhibition, which will run till Feb. 21, boasts of more than 50 percent participation from international markets.
Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, director general of Modon, opened the show.
Machinex Arabia 2013 Saudi Arabia is being held with the support of the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) in parallel with Propac Arabia Exhibition, Saudi Arabia’s 18th international event for production and processing, printing and packaging, plastic and chemicals.
This is the largest and ideal networking and marketing platform that will gather key figures, decision-makers and manufacturers from the global building, construction, and industrial machinery and equipment, said a press release.
Along with 40 Turkish companies, industrial firms from China and Taiwan are also taking part.
In addition, a number of leading Saudi companies representing global companies involved in the production of machinery, equipment and full plant processing systems from Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Holland, Switzerland and the US are taking part of this year’s exhibition.
Zahoor Siddique, ACE’s vice president for exhibitions, said: “The exhibition is an outstanding platform for businesses to enter into joint ventures in industry and explore the business opportunities in the most promising market in the region.”
