Indian Consul General Faiz Ahmed Kidwai paid a visit to Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Company Limited Jeddah office and talked to a large contingent of regional managers of various divisions representing the company.
Prominent among those present were Area Manager Ahmed Fawzi Kanoo and regional managers of all the Kanoo Operating Divisions. Kanoo deals with various Indian companies like Air India, Kuoni Destinations, Swagatam Tours, Great Eastern Shipping, Shipping Corporation of India, Synergy Maritime, IIC Technologies, Voltas, Asbesco, Yamuna Power & Infrastructure, Danke Electricals, Chemtrols Industries, Moog Controls and ATTS India.
Saudi Arabia and India enjoy excellent bilateral relations in all fields, particularly business and economic. The recent frequent exchange of visits between the two countries through the Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) reflects the steadily growing ties that would enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.
Kanoo welcomed the consul general and introduced him to all the Kanoo managers and gave a brief note on the company’s history and the line of business and products that the company deals with.
The managers informed him of the various Indian companies that Kanoo represents as part of its business strategy and future development. Each manager gave an in-depth analysis of the type of products that his division deals in, not only with Indian companies but also other companies worldwide. They also conveyed the advantages and benefits they gained dealing with these Indian companies.
Ways on how to further enhance business between Kanoo and other Indian companies were also discussed.
The consul general said it would be a good idea if the company took a delegation of their managers to India to have meetings with various Indian companies. He said the Indian Consulate would make all necessary arrangements to receive them through various associations in India like the Confederation of Indian Industries and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
Kidwai appreciated the strength and presence of Kanoo Group in various industries including power and industrial projects and oil and gas besides their traditional expertise in travel, shipping and freight industries.
