Nasir Mehmood Abbasi’s belligerent 110 of 42 balls for KFSH Blues against BSF and Attieh Steel Nasir’s swashbuckling 132 of 50 balls against Bangla Tigers were the highlight of the ongoing RCA T20 Summer Cup being played at RCA grounds.
At RCA-2 ground, batting first BSF scored competitive 233 for 4 against KFSH Blues in their allotted over’s with Ghulam making quick 90 runs while Yassir chipped in with fine 63 not out. Saqib Abbasi took 2 wickets conceding 38 runs for KFSH Blues. Chasing the target KFSH Blues helped by Nasir Mehmood Abbasi’s belligerent 110 and Saqib Abbasi fine 87 not out lead to an effortless 9 wicket victory with an over to spare.
At RCA-3 ground Nasir of Attieh Steel was in prime form and scored swashbuckling 132 not out to guide Attieh Steel score to 261 for 5 in their allotted over’s. Amir AND Zuhaib contributed 37 and 25 not out runs respectively to their total.
In reply Bangla Tiger were bowled out for 203 to give Attieh Steel 59 runs victory. At RCA-1 ground Saeed Raheem excellent bowling spell (4 for 13) steered Amer Holidays to facile 68 runs victory over BSF. Winning the toss and electing to bat first Amer Holidays scored 210 for 6. Ahtisham Aziz top-scored with 59 runs.
Aslam Talib Hussainn (58) and Kamran Hadi (37) was the other notable scorer’s in Amer Holidays innings. In reply BSF were restricted to 142 for 9 in their over’s. Safdar 54 top-scored while Amjad contributed 21 runs to BSF’s total.
Pak Eagles CC scored an easy 5 wicket victory over Green Bangla at RCA-2 grounds. Batting first Green Bangla were restricted 169 for 8 in their over’s. Chasing the target Pak Eagles CC aided by Altaf’s brisk 60 runs romped home in 17th over losing 5 wickets.
Khurshid and Farman Afridi chipped in with useful 30 and 26 runs respectively. Al-Hamra scored an emphatic 100 runs victory over Deer XI at RCA-3 ground. Batting first Al-Hamra scored mammoth 278 in their allotted over’s with useful contributions from Mohammed Amjad (64), Majid Khan (22) Zahid Mir (45) Aftab (21) and Mudassar (43). Chasing a stiff target Deer XI were bowled out for 176 with Ejaz Sulaiman and Mobashar Bukhari taking two wickets each conceding 11 and 20 runs respectively for Al-Hamra.
