KFSH Greens, Amir Holidays, Saham move up in BSF Twenty20 tourney

RIYADH: Twelve T20 matches were played in the BSF T20 Cricket Cup Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.
In the Super League, Lahore Lions got the better of KFSH Blues by 26 runs.
After winning the toss Lahore Lions made first use of the pitch and scored a competitive 190-6 off 20 overs.
Owais (70) and Salman (34) were the top scorers. Saqib Abbasi took 2 wickets while Qaiser, Qasim and Imtiaz were the other wicket takers.
Nasir Abbasi gave KFSH Blues an explosive start and scored 43 off 21 balls. But after the fall of his wicket KFSH Blues crumbled under pressure and managed 164-8 off 20 overs. Qaiser was the other major contributor with 40 runs. Mansoor took 3 wickets while Nawaz and Jamshed chipped in with 2 wickets each.
Shouraim scored an easy six-wicket win over FUCHS.
Batting first FUCHS scored 153 off 20 overs. Thanks to tight bowling by Shouraim. Javaid was the top-scorer with 62 runs. Faisal and Zeeshan took 2 wickets each. Shouraim chased the target comfortably off 14 overs and got 2 valuable points. Waqas continued his great form with the bat and scored an unbeaten 94 off 45 balls. Aziz took 2 wickets.
Amir Holidays upset Pak Shaheen by 5 wickets. Batting first Pak Shaheen put on board 188 off 20 overs. Usman scored 46 and Abdul Qadir 42 did their best. Arslan bagged 3 wickets. Saeed Rahim and Samiullah got 2 wickets each. Amir Holidays achieved their target in the penultimate over.
Kamran Hadi scored a brilliant 57 off 27 balls while Ahtisham contributed 54 valuable runs. Abdul Wahab and Abdul Salam took 2 wickets each.
In another match, BSF beat Ayoun Al Badr by 3 wickets. Batting first Ayoun Al Badr managed 153 off 20 overs.
Sheraz was the highest scorer with 40 runs. Ahmer Waheed and Ali Shahid scored 28 runs reach respectively.
BSF reached their target off 17.5 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Imran Khan took 2 wickets.
In Premier League 1, Attieh Steels routed Hyderabadi Warriors by 8 wickets. Hyderabadi Warriors scored 223 off 20 overs. Ramzan took 2 wickets. Attieh Steels raced to their target off 18.4 overs. Nasir scored his second consecutive century of the tournament and remained unbeaten on 142 runs off 56 balls. Amir made 40 and Asif 23.
Riyadh Warriors beat Thales by 4 wickets. Thales scored only 145 off 20 overs. Fahad made 37. Ayaz and Abdul Ghafoor took 3 wickets each. He was supported by Shaik who got 2 wickets. Riyadh Warriors scored 148 off 18.2 overs. Asif (30), Ayaz (28) and Shaik (23) were the main run getters.
Asim and Fahad took 2 wickets each for Thales. RAC beat Stallions by 5 wickets. Stallions scored 204-8 off 20 overs.
RAC achieved their target and registered their first win in the tournament. Mudassir (60), Amjad (43) and Zahid Mir (23) were among the scorers.
KFSH Greens won their third game in a row when they routed Riyadh Fighters by 72 runs.
Batting first, KFSH Greens scored 243 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Naeem (89) and Sajjad (65) did their best. Riyadh Fighters buckled down against some excellent new ball bowling by Inayat and Kausar who took 2 wickets each and managed 171 off 20 overs. Nusrat made (72) and Arshad (52) top-scored.
In Premier League 2, Green Bangla struggled to beat TBCC by 14 runs. Batting first Green Bangle scored 167. Al Amin was the highest scorer with 39 runs. Sohel made a useful 30.
TBCC scored 153 in reply. Fazal grabbed 3 wickets. Shamim and Faisal took 2 wickets each.
Kashmir Press beat Kashmir XI. Batting first Kashmir XI scored only 115 off 20 overs. Waseem was the top scored with 22 runs. Imtiaz and Qasim took 3 wickets each.
Kashmir Press achieved the target off 7.5 overs for the loss of only two wickets. Imtiaz scored 65 and Waseem 31.
Saham beat Combined XI by 3 wickets. Batting first Combined XI scored 207 off 20 overs. Mohammed Fayyaz scored an unbeaten 105.
Asmat Shahzad (27) and (Kashif 21) gave good support. Majid took 2 wickets. Saham got to their target off 17.3 overs helped by a fine knock of 91 by Ali Majid was the other notable scorer with 39 runs. Abdul Qayyum took 3 wickets.
Riyadh Panthers beat Pak Force by 6 wickets. Batting first Pak Force scored 188 off 20 overs. Tauseef and Raza got 2 wickets each for Riyadh Panthers. Riyadh Panthers got to their target off 16 overs. Waqar scored 40, Tahir 39 and Yassir 38 runs respectively.
