Khaled Al-Ghuniem new CEO of STC Group

STC Board of directors has announced the appointment of Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al-Ghuniem as the CEO of Saudi Telecom Group effective June 18.
Al-Ghuniem is considered a highly qualified Saudi national who has held various senior positions prior to his new post at STC Group.
He was the CEO of Al-Elm Information Security Company.
He holds a bachelor degree in computer science from King Saud University, and both Masters and PhD degrees in electric engineering and computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
In the course of his career, he was a fulltime consultant for the then Ministry of Defense and Aviation, as well as an associate professor at the faculty of computer and information sciences in King Saud University.
Al-Ghuniem is also a member of the board of directors of various local companies and associations, and handled a range of consultancy and voluntary roles.
The board of directors also announced that Saud Al-Daweesh’s resignation was approved and became effective yesterday.
