Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has sent a message to Turki Al-Sudairy, editor-in-chief of Al-Riyadh Arabic daily, wishing him speedy recovery following a surgical operation.
Al-Riyadh newspaper yesterday commended the king’s noble gesture and said it reflected the Saudi leader’s strong feelings toward citizens. “As a result, King Abdullah lives in the heart of every Saudi citizen,” it stated.
The paper said the royal message not only manifested King Abdullah’s noble feelings and stands toward Al-Sudairy, but also toward all media people and citizens across the Kingdom.
“We are proud to publish the greeting card sent by King Abdullah to the editor-in-chief,” the paper said.
Meanwhile, Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, visited Al-Sudairy on Monday to get reassured about his health following the surgery.
