Lahore Badshah stuns Pak Shaheen in BSF Tourney

Lahore Badshah scored a stunning eight-wicket win over Pak Shaheen and confirmed their place among the top four after round nine in the Banque Saudi Al Fransi T20 Super League Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association, in Riyadh last week.
Pak Shaheen put up 156 off their allotted 18 overs. Asif and Shoaib did most of the damage as they bagged four wickets each.
Lahore Badshah achieved the target off 16.5 overs for the loss of only two wickets. Yassir remained unbeaten on 62. Wahab Khan (43) and Asif (34) were the other run getters.
In another Super League match, KFSH Blues trounced Ayoun Al Badr by 85 runs. Winning the toss and electing to bat first KFSH Blues pilled up 245 for 4 off 20 overs. Qaiser Hussain and Nasir Abbasi gave them a brisk start. Qaiser played brilliantly and scored 134 off 60 balls with 7 sixes. Nasir Abbasi (34), Fakhar (29) and Qasim (18) were the others who impressed.
Ali, Imran, Shakir and Ameen took a wicket each for Ayoun Al Badr. Chasing a huge target, Ayoun Al Badr managed 160 for 8. Ahmer Waheed made 45, Azizullah 36 and Ali 25. Nasir Abbasi and Khurram Baig got 2 wickets each.
In Premier League 1, Hyderabadi Warriors beat KFSH Greens by 2 wickets to book their place in the semifinals. Batting first KFSH Greens scored 175 off 20 overs. Kauser scored 42 runs while Mansoor Ali got 41. Abdul Majid took 4 wickets.
Hyderabadi Warriors reached their target in the last over. Abdul Kareem top-scored with 40 runs. Abdul Manan (35) and Syed Nasir (28) did their best. Kauser was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets. In another match of the same league, RAC beat Attieh Steels by 49 runs. RAC batted first and put on board 194 runs. Mudassir (41), Sarfraz (34) and Aftab (32) propped up the innings. Nasir and Asif got two wickets each.
In reply Attieh Steel were bowled out for 145 off 16 overs. Aftab had the rival batsmen in a spin with as he took six wickets. Afzal and Amjad chipped in with 2 wickets each. Thales beat Riyadh Fighters by 6 wickets. Batting first Riyadh Fighters scored 159. Amjid, Atif and Fahad got 2 wickets each. Thales reached home comfortably in the 17 overs. Asim made 65 and Imran remained not out with 50 runs. Waheed and Yassir got 2 wickets each. In Premier League 2, Combined XI beat Green Bangla by 13 runs. Batting first Combined XI scored 200 for 9 off 20 overs. Kashif was the highest scorer with 65 runs. Asmat Shahzad continued his great form and scored 53. Kakon got 3 wickets while Jakir and Aminul 2 each. Elsewhere, Green Bangle scored 187 for 9 off their 20 overs. Kakon was the top-scored with 74 runs. Al Amin (32) and Aminul (22) gave his good support. Asmat Shahzad performed well with the ball also and took 3 wickets. Kashif, Fiyyaz and Asad got 2 wickets each. In a thrilling encounter, Tigers edged past Riyadh Panthers by a solitary run.
Batting first Tigers scored 151 off 20 overs. Nisar got 4 wickets and Raza 2. Tauseef (44), Raza (38) and Waqar (25) put up a good show. In the other matches, BSF beat FUCHS and Pak Force beat Serendib.
