LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator, has unveiled the HX996TS, described as the first ever 3D Sound Blu-ray Home Theater System using innovative approaches to delivering sound at an event organized by United Yousef Mohammad Naghi Co., one of the distributors of LG Electronics in the Kingdom, in Jeddah.
The demonstration, attended by dealers and media, showcased the latest high-end 3D sound systems of LG models, HX996TS, BH9520TW, and HB966TRW that have 3D Blue-ray full wireless home theater. LG claimed it is the first to launch this in the market.
All of its new systems are 3D supported with smartphone applications for the TV remote control and the future of new netcast, LG applications store WIFI connectivity, and full wireless channel.
John Lee, president of LG Electronics KSA, said: “We at LG electronics believe in innovative solutions, hence LG is the first to introduce this high-end technology for sound systems in the market. The new LG 2012 3D sound zooming technology synchronizes the sound output with the location and movement of the on-screen 3D images on a CINEMA 3D Smart TV. 3D sound zooming is capable of generating a variety of depths in sound based on a complex algorithm that analyzes the varying depths of numerous on-screen objects displayed on the 3D TV.”
During the demo the new models were tested against competitors’ products. The new models won awards at CES award 2012 in Las Vegas.

The new BH9520TW, HX996TS and HB966TRW include two front speakers, two rear speakers and a sub-woofer. They all connect wirelessly delivering amazing lifelike sound without a bundle of audio cables.
