MADINAH: The Food Control Department at the Madinah mayor’s office seized and destroyed more than 3,000 chickens found to be well past their expiration date.
The supply was found in a warehouse and was to be sold through an outlet in Al-Hinakiya, a Madinah governorate.
The mayor’s office said it received a tip about the warehouse, which prompted the investigation.
