Marriott Jeddah Hotel of GM John Louie defeated ACES 70-66 as the 2012 JBL 2nd Conference Non-Rated Basketball Tournament resumed after a two-week Ramadan break at Bin Mahfouz court on Andalus District here.
Marriott Hotel showed heart in the crucial seconds as Aces tried to steal the game with their running game. Samson and Creencia scored 23 and 21 points respectively for Marriott. Both were adjudged as the Giordano Best Players of the game while Diaz had 16 points for Aces.

Al Muhaidib of Robert De Guzman beat Bradley Braves 81-73. Coach Pablo Viscayno’s run-and-gun offense was unstoppable in the final period. Bradley Braves tried hard to figure out the enemy offense but lost steam in the dying minutes. Gary Padernal led Muhaidib with 23 points and was adjudged as the Saudi Sign Best Player of the game while Alturas scored 16 points for Braves.
Mahmoud Gharib of Simlor Joseph Crisostomo defeated Red Hot Guys 72-64. Coach Elmer Tendero came well prepared to this game as his big men were all present. Mahmoud Gharib dominated the shaded area. Jasper Jonas top-scored with 29 points for Mahmoud Gharib and was adjudged as the JBL Best Player of the game while Paragas had 16 points for Red Hot Guys.
Nissan G-TR of Francis Gallego defeated STC Terabytes 77-64. Both teams matched up well up to the third quarter. Nissan G-TR went to the open man in the final quarter as STC Terabytes started to miss important jumpers in the crucial seconds of the game. Jason Villanueva top-scored with 22 points for Nissan G-TR and was adjudged as Wael Sports Best Player of the game while LLyod Zamora scored 16 points for STC Terabytes.
Saudia Aviation of Andrew Masongsong beat DHL Express 51-39. Both teams played good defense in the whole game. Saudia Aviation applied running game in the final quarter to tear down DHL Express defense. The plan paid well as DHL Express feel exhausted in the final 2 minutes of the game. Estrella and Alegre each scored 13 points for Saudia Avaition and both were adjudged as TFC Best Players while Rafael had 16 points for DHL Express.
Saudia Catering Company of coach Macron Maycacayan defeated Jeddah Dawah Center 87-58. Saudia Catering dominated inside games while running a fast break offense as Jeddah Dawah Center missed the services of their big men.
Pat Gonzales led Saudia Catering with 15 points and was adjudged as Arab News Best Player of the game while Jameel Lumanog top-scored with 24 points for Jeddah Dawah Center.
Moda beat Erfan Hospital 61-56. Moda’s running game was very effective in the final quarter. Bertolano top-scored with 27 points and was adjudged as JBL Best Player. Valle scored 18 points for Erfan Hospital.
ALJ Toyota crushed Laylati 65-49. Taguba and Tayam each scored 11 points to share the Giordano Best Player honors, while Allan Decella had 16 points for Laylati.
