The 7th edition of Media and Marketing Show (MMS) took place recently at the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
Many important marketing companies participated in the two-day event, which ended on Wednesday.
The exhibition, opened by Sami Ahmad Dhaen Al-Qamzi, director general of the Department of Economic Development and deputy chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, was organized by leading international exhibition specialist, The Domus Group. MMS 2012 had Dubai Media City supporting it as an official patron and Forbes Middle East as regional business media partner. Al-Shuala Media and Media ME also supported media partners.
On being part of MMS 2012, Asad Abou Orm, circulation manager of Forbes Middle East, told Arab News: “Forbes is one of the most reputable professional business magazines in the world. Launching Forbes Middle East back in 2010 was a significant decision considering the promising economical growth within the region. The investments opportunities in the ME and especially in the GCC have attracted the eyes of businessmen, investors and even governments from other continents."
The show organized and hosted conference streams, seminars, and networking sessions that tackled issues of the emerging needs, changing landscape of media, technology and communication.
It hosted exhibitors from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, Morocco and the UAE. It covered 10 key sectors related to media and marketing, including publishing, advertisement, publicity, outdoor advertising, broadcast, marketing, PR, production, entertainment and lifestyle, bringing together convergent streams of media in a holistic discussion.
