Mehran lifts Super Cup; Samarwa, RSC Premier I and II champs

In the Power Zone T-20 Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket League, Mehran won their final match from Metrofile Sixers and became Super League champion.
In Premier League I final match, Cricket Samarwa defeated Saudi Jaguar while in Premier League II, Riyadh Sports Club won against Gujranwala CC in the final.
Raja Ejaz, Usman Khan and Mansoor gave all round performances while Mujahid, Kamran and Usman shone with the bat. Abbas was good with his bowling . A huge crowd attended the final matches at RCL grounds.
Summaries of final matches:
On RCL-3 ground, Mehran CC beat Metrofile Sixers CC by 69 runs in the Super League final. Mehran batted first and set a target of 183 runs. After Mehran lost 4 early wickets Raja Ejaz played a sensible innings and made 70 runs with the help of 10 boundaries. He was supported by Assad Butt, who made 30 runs while Usman Khan added 19, Assad Khan 13 and Ibrahim 12 runs. Abbas of Metro bowled well and took 4 wickets while Imran Khan and Khawar each took 2 wickets. In reply, Metrofile failed to achieve the needed total and bowled out for 113 runs. Usman Khan was in dashing mood to take 4 wickets and damage Metro’s batting line. Assad Khan took 2 wickets while Raja, Shehzad, Ibrahim and Fakhr took 1 wicket each.
Raja Ejaz of Mehran was Man of the Match.
On RCL-4 ground, Cricket Samarwa beat Saudi Jaguar CC by 29 runs in the Premier League I final. Saudi Jaguar won the toss and invited Samarwa to bat first. This decision went in Jaguar’s favor as they took some early wickets of Samarwa. Later, Mujahid’s sensible batting for 47 runs supported Samarwa to a reasonable total of 188 runs. Ameen scored 31 runs, Kashif 30, Aasif Sheikh 22 and Qasim 17 runs. Owais of Jaguar took 2 wickets while Danish, Mutakbir, Waleed and Mohammed took 1 wicket each. In reply, Saudi Jaguar could not achieve the required score and lost the match by 29 runs. Kamra Rao played an excellent innings of 75 runs but could not save his team from defeat. Kashif and Qasim of Samarwa each took 2 wickets and Naeem and Amir 1 wicket each.
Mujahid of Cricket Samarwa was Man of the Match.
On RCL-2 ground, Riyadh Sports Club won the Premier League II final against Gujranwala CC by 6 wickets. Batting first, Gujranwala made 141 runs. Usman Ashraf played well and made 60 runs while Dastageer had 26 runs. Gujranwala’s tailenders could not handle the devastating bowling of Mansoor and the team was bowled out in 18 overs. Mansoor took 4 wickets while Asif and Younes took 2 wickets each. In reply, Riyadh Sports Club achieved the target in just 15.3 overs to win the match. Mansoor made 39 runs and Shahnwaz 32. Qasim’s decisive 10 runs took their team to victory. Ashraf of Gujranwala took 2 wickets while Altaf and Usman 1 wicket each.
