Mobily, Belgacom CEOs deepen telecom links

Khalid Al-Kaf, managing director and CEO of Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), yesterday welcomed Daniel Kurgan, CEO of the Belgacom Telecommunications Company (BICS).
Both parties discussed ways of cooperation between the two companies in the field of telecommunication, discussing as well the current and future developments for the telecommunication industry worldwide and in the Middle East in particular.
Al-Kaf displayed Mobily’s vision on the reality of the telecommunication sector in the Kingdom as well as the growth in the services provided, Al-Kaf pointed out Mobily’s efforts to strengthen corporations with global telecoms through submarine and terrestrial cable networks that links the east side to the west side and vice versa, as well as exchanging experiences in providing advanced communication services.
Al-Kaf also mentioned the successful launch of the fourth generation through LTE TD presented in the Kingdom as the first telecommunication company providing such services.
Moreover, Al-Kaf assured that Mobily began implementing its new vision “Innovate your World” creating differentiation from competitors and positioning itself clearly and strongly in a highly competitive sector.
