Egyptian President Muhammad Mursi left the Kingdom yesterday after attending the emergency Islamic summit in Makkah and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Mursi was seen off at Madinah airport by Gov. Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed, Maj. Gen. Fahd Al-Anazi, commander of Madinah, and other senior officials.
Earlier, Mursi met with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister defense, on the sidelines of the summit.
It was Mursi’s second official visit to the Kingdom after becoming president.
