Nasair, the Saudi national carrier, has announced that 10,000 additional seats were added to the airline capacity between Riyadh and Dammam to Jeddah. Turki Al-Jawaini, nasair's deputy chief commercial officer, said the average number of flights between Riyadh and Jeddah during the holy month of fasting is 14 flights a day and between Jeddah and Dammam 4 flights a day thus making traveling to Makkah, performing Umrah and praying at the Holy Mosque much easier.
Al-Jawaini also stated that the total number of flights between Jeddah and both Riyadh and Dammam have increased by nearly 100 percent compared to the scheduled flights before Ramadan. He added that flights between Riyadh and Jeddah were 360 flights a month and increased to 727 in Ramadan, and the flights between Dammam and Jeddah were 120 flights a month before Ramadan and increased to 202 flights in Ramadan.
Turki concluded his statement by confirming that reservation on nasair is available online through www.flynas.com and through nasair toll free number 9200 01234 or through travel agents, franchisees and nasair offices at the airports.
