RIYADH: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) will take part in the 15th global anti-corruption conference from Nov. 7-10, in Brasilia, Brazil, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Organized by the International Transparency Organization (ITO), the conference aims to devise viable solutions for corruption and curb its spread and negative influence on society.
The conference will bring together high-ranking officials, communal experts, private sector, and journalists on how to face challenges posed by corruption
World experts, representatives from governments and the public and private sector and media from around the world will come together to focus on trends and issues such as empowering people, fair governments, impunity, power changes, and the restoration of confidence in the private sector.
Nazaha will be represented at the conference by Salih Al-Shuwairikh, Nazaha assistant deputy chairman for Projects and Public Affairs, Salim Al-Farhan, director of Deals and International Organizations, and Abdullah Al-Ammar, director of Government Contracts.
The Nazaha delegation will be part of the Arab Network for Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority.
The conference is held every two years in an effort to exchange global expertise in the fight against corruption and strengthen global cooperation between citizens and communal institutions.
Nazaha is the national body entrusted to collect, classify, and analyze data and statistics related to corruption and establish a national database to protect integrity and combat corruption in the Kingdom.
