NCB Capital Equity Research wins 3 Euromoney awards

At its annual Middle East research survey for 2012, Euromoney, a major business and financial publication, has voted NCB Capital Equity Research as number one in three sectors and in the top three for seven other sectors. The first place awards are: Best Research House in the Cement Sector; Best Research House in the Consumer Goods/Retail Sector; Best Research House in the Food & Agriculture Sector.
Commenting on this outstanding achievement, Farouk Miah, head of equity research at NCB Capital, said: “An essential component in building our role as a trusted advisor to clients is the depth of thinking and analysis that we offer them and over the last four years we have invested in building what is now the leading domestic Saudi equity research capability, which is recognized by our repeated success in winning the annual Euromoney awards.”
The Euromoney annual survey asks global and regional investors to rate the quality of sell side research covering the Middle Eastern equity markets and each respondent was asked to nominate the top three firms by sector. This year's survey is Euromoney’s sixth and is seen as a key independent indicator of research effectiveness and quality in the region. In 2012, over 400 HNW and institutional clients voted in this poll.
NCB Capital, described as Saudi Arabia’s largest asset manager and leading wealth management company, is well positioned to gauge the market from a unique viewpoint and bases its success on its commitment to a high quality research product, its on-the-ground presence in the Saudi market, and the close cooperation between its research and sales organizations. Putting this into practice, NCB Capital offers its clients a dedicated, market-leading research team that provides insightful and up- to-date-research on the Saudi equity market.
